Founding of Country Lazer, formerly known as Feather Etch
R.J. and Nancy Rucker establish Feather Etch, setting the foundation for a legacy of quality and innovation.
2001
2002 Olympic Pins
Craig Weston, the Olympic Director from Aminico International, commissioned Feather Etch to make the first official
Wooden pins for the 2002 Olympics. The collectors' set included a small wooden box and four pins.
2006
Rebranding and New Location
In 2006, Feather Etch rebranded to the name we know today—Country Lazer. This transition coincided with the expansion of their business, which included relocating from Elwood to a larger facility in Collinston.

Working with the National Parks
With their commitment to eco-friendly laser practices and the help of Craig Weston, they started creating wooden Junior Ranger Badges for National Parks.
